Steps

  1. Whisk the dry ingredients in one bowl and buttermilk, eggs, and butter in another.
  2. Fold wet into dry until just combined — lumps are fine.
  3. Cook on a buttered griddle over medium heat until bubbles pop, then flip, about 2 minutes per side.
  4. Serve warm with maple syrup.
