We started Stove Pals because feeding a family, or just yourself, shouldn't mean juggling screenshots, sticky notes, and the nightly "what do you want to eat?" standoff. We wanted to build something that actually helps, for anyone who cooks.
Start Planning FreeThe short version of a very common problem
Every home cook knows the feeling: a great recipe saved somewhere, in a screenshot, a browser tab, a torn magazine page, a text from a friend, and no real way to find it again when it actually matters. Meanwhile the week rolls on, nobody's sure what's for dinner, and the same three meals get repeated because they're the ones anyone can remember.
We wanted to fix that, not just for ourselves, but for every family and every individual trying to get a decent meal on the table without it eating up their whole evening. So we built a place where recipes actually stick, where planning the week takes minutes instead of a group chat, and where the whole household can be part of it instead of just one person carrying the load.
That's the whole mission: take the friction out of feeding the people you cook for, whether that's a family of six or just you on a Tuesday night.
The principles behind every decision we make
A recipe you love shouldn't get lost in a screenshot folder. However it reaches you, whether a link, a PDF, a photo, or a scribbled note, it belongs somewhere you can actually find it again.
Planning meals shouldn't fall on one person. Everyone in a household should be able to see the plan, ask for what they want, and help make it happen.
Feeding your family shouldn't sit behind a paywall. Planning your week on Stove Pals is free, and there are no ads in the app. If we ever add paid features, the everyday planning you rely on stays on the free plan.
Not test kitchens, real ones, with picky eaters, busy schedules, and Tuesday nights where nobody feels like cooking. Every feature starts from that reality.
